Problem & Results

Boeing gave Jeppesen the late go-ahead to implement a strategic Digital Aviation project, a comprehensive SaaS Web app for planning and operations of VIP charter flights. The product manager and multiple development teams rushed to implement the concept model and to integrate Jeppesen’s proprietary information systems with a third-party Flight Ops vendor.

Given the compressed schedule, I was asked to help accelerate the final design. I soon became the primary designer while coordinating interaction design and visual elements across dozens of pages as part of a Scrum-of-Scrums distributed development program. After I guided it toward a successful launch, this service continued to mature and gain customers worldwide.
